How to get to Maspalomas from Gran Canaria Airport

Follow the signs for the “GC-1 Sur” as you are leaving the airport. Once you are on the GC-1 motorway, you should continue south following the signs for Maspalomas. After about 30km, take exit 46 signposted as “GC-500 San Fernando – Maspalomas”. Then follow the road to the Maspalomas roundabout – take the second exit if you are staying near the golf course. By Bus
There are several public buses that connect Gran Canaria Airport with Maspalomas; the 01, 04, 05, 36, 66 and 90 bus routes all stop at the airport on the way to Maspalomas – though the 66 and 90 routes have less stops on the way. The number 05 bus between Las Palmas and Faro de Maspalomas runs at night and stops at the airport en route. The price is €3.50.

By Taxi
It costs around €40 for a taxi from Gran Canaria Airport to Maspalomas and the journey takes around 30 minutes. There is not usually a long wait at the airport taxi rank.

By Airport Transfer
A pre-booked airport shuttle costs just €4.98 – this is a little more expensive than the public bus, but it does take you all the way to your hotel. A private transfer by car for up to 4 passengers costs as little as €27.75 – quite a bit cheaper than a taxi. Vehicles for larger groups (including people carriers and mini-buses) can also be pre-booked. It is important to be aware that you cannot buy tickets for an airport transfer at the airport – they must be purchased online in advance.
