By Car
As you exit the airport, follow the signs for “GC-1 Sur” (towards Maspalomas). Once you are on the GC-1 motorway, it is pretty straightforward, just continue on the motorway past Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas and Meloneras. You will then pass through a series of tunnels – the last of which is the ‘Tunel de Mogan’. When you come out of the Tunel de Mogan, you should move into the left-hand lane, and then simply follow the road into Puerto de Mogan. Just remember that ‘Puerto de Mogan’ and ‘Mogan’ are two different places! Click here to compare car rental prices.
By Bus
There are two public bus routes that connect the airport to Puerto de Mogan – both of which run between the city of Las Palmas and Puerto de Mogan, stopping at the airport en route. The number 01 bus route stops at nearly every bus stop between the airport and Puerto de Mogan, and is therefore very slow, while the number 91 is a lot faster with fewer stops on the way.
The journey costs €6.80, and takes approximately 55 minutes (for the 91).
By Taxi
It costs between €64 and €75 for a taxi from Gran Canaria Airport to Puerto de Mogan (Puerto de Mogan is 54km from the airport). Journey time is approximately 50 minutes.
By Airport Transfer
A pre-booked airport transfer by coach costs as little as €8.43 – while this is a little more expensive than the public bus, it will take you all the way to your hotel. A private transfer by car for up to 4 people costs around €48 – considerable cheaper than a taxi. These private transfers can also cater for larger groups using people carriers and mini-buses.
Bear in mind that due to regulations transfers cannot be purchased at the airport and must be pre-booked in advance.

Hi, I presume that you mean returning on the 1st of March? If so, a return transfer for two people by coach would be €38.36. A private transfer would be €156.
For the return, you should specify the departure time of your flight, and the transfer company will calculate the pick-up time based on that.
Also, if you are not staying at a hotel, you should specify a nearby hotel for the drop-off and collection.

Hello, we arrive 26. January 2024 at 22.00 in the evening. That is too late for the 91 bus. Are the shuttle buses still running so late?
admin
Yes, Shuttle buses run at whatever time they are pre-booked for.

We arrive on Thursday 17 October just after 8pm. Based on previous responses the last bus leaves Las Palmas at 9pm so should be at the airport around 9.35pm?

Hi, Yes, that is correct.
