Once a fishing village, this very tasteful resort often comes as a pleasant surprise to it’s visitors. The pretty pedestrianised streets are full of flowers of every colour and the small footbridges over the Canal are reminiscent of a mini-Venice.

The Beach-front is lined with well-presented Bars, Restaurants, Cafés and Shops and really is quite different to the large resorts to the east. The Marina is particularly attractive and still has space for some genuine fishing boats (along with the Luxury Yachts and Cruisers).
A large variety of Marine Excursions and Game Fishing Trips are available from the Marina and a Market is held here every Friday Morning.
